organization. The club was founded in 2000. A handful of
people came together and created a vision of what they
would like to see in the Livingston county area for people
like themselves in sobriety. They gave their time, energy,
money and last but not least hearts. A lot has been
accomplished over the past 6 years. We offer a safe sober
environment. We have a variety of twelve step meetings
daily for those seeking a lifestyle free of alcohol and drugs.
Offering meetings for adults and adolescents. We also have
a program called Youth In Recovery. It is run for youth by
youth. Our doors are open 7 days a week 365 days a year.
Our funding comes from donations. The Alano club
provides social activities. Some of our activities are euchre
tournaments, dances, dinners, car shows and we even have
a softball team. We at the L.C.A.A.C. Invite you to stop in,
have a cup of coffee, good conversation and check us out.
